Iran ‘Vedas’ to participate at Visioni Corte

Iranian short film ‘Vedas’ is set to participate at the Visioni Corte International Short Film Festival in Italy.

Written and directed by Dariush Jafari, ‘Vedas’ will be screened at the 10th edition of the Italian event.

The film’s events take place in a surreal atmosphere.

“Sometimes I see things in real life that are scarier than the nightmares I see,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The upcoming edition of Visioni Corte International Short Film Festival will take place on September 18-25.

The festival aims to “spread the talent of young emerging directors in the panorama of Italian, European and international cinema, pursuing the aim of merging culture, territory and tourism, with a particular interest for innovations in the field of cinema,”, according to an online submission platform.
